        微軟執行長Satya Nadella在今年年初上任後，曾接受訪問時表示，微軟將走向以雲端(cloud)與行動裝置為主的方向。因此，之前便開始傳出微軟將推出目前時下最夯的穿戴式裝置產品，其中便是可能和蘋果iWatch互相較勁的智慧型手錶。

When it comes to rumors, the tech sector is the recipient of more than its fair share. But an Apple iWatch, should the rumors prove correct, could be the shot-in-arm Apple investors have been waiting for.

1. 1.      stuck to one’s gun：不為所動。

        例句：  I'll stick to my guns on this matter. 

1. 2.      one’s fair share：與其他人相比所得到的部分。

l          背景介紹：

        博通(Broadcom)是一家製造手機晶片的廠商，其對手是另一家稱為高通(Qualcomm)的公司，後者在手機4G LTE通訊技術市場上扮演舉足輕重的地位。

文中提到博通過去幾年大量投資(invest)，是為了趕上高通。

        但其實，博通在高階的手機通訊市場上，一直是居市場首位，其供應商包括蘋果與三星等廠商，而這兩家公司規模之龐大，也能夠在採購時可以更仔細挑選適合的產品。

Over the last several years, semiconductor maker Broadcom has invested a lot of money in trying to catch up to baseband industry leader Qualcomm, which is estimated to control 95% of the emerging LTE market.

Broadcom has traditionally been strong in the high-end handset connectivity market, supplying both Apple and Samsung, who can afford to pick and choose among the best components.
