        日本電器大廠Panasonic受到韓國三星等對手低價產品的衝擊，近年來獲利受到影響。不過，該公司與其他日本科技公司都已經開始在「種菜」領域獲得突破，似乎是異軍突起。

        Panasonic在新加坡種的蔬菜，甚至已經開始供應給餐廳。當然，價格相對也較高。

        Japan's Panasonic Corp, best known for its television sets and home theater systems, wants to feed Singaporeans its radishes and lettuce.

        Indoor farming has found favor with other hi-tech Japanese companies as well. Fujitsu Ltd is growing lettuce at its Fukushima province plant, while Sharp Corp is testing growing strawberries indoors in Dubai.

        Still, some locally grown produce comes at a premium. At FairPrice, Sky Greens' nai bai vegetable retails at more than double the price of an import from China.

        這時，也必須提到Google。因為Google推出的Android Wear，正好也是為穿戴式裝置專用的作業系統(OS)。

        加上市面上搭載Android系統的智慧型手機極多，因此，兩家公司在穿戴式裝置市場上的競爭，勢必會相當激烈與備受期待。

         Google wants to dominate the smart watch and wearables space with Android Wear. By releasing a specialized version of Android that's optimized for wearables, the company shores up its place in the growing segment.

        When Apple debuted the iPhone with iOS, it was clearly years ahead of anything on the market. The phone gobbled up smartphone market share quickly and then Google and phone makers banded together to take on Apple. But with Android already a solid OS leader now, it may be harder for Apple to make headway against smart-watch makers running Android Wear.
